Something of an evolution occurred from the Spice Tree label from Compass Box, which lead to the development of a hybrid oak cask that accents and underlines the rich spicy flavors of their whisky. This rich expression brings forward layers of flavor that will satisfy the most discerning Scotch drinker.

Crowd Taste Notes:
Aromas of ginger, cloves, cedar, and burnt toast. On the palate is licorice, grains, ginger, and garlic. It has young oak intensity, a subtle mouthfeel and a medium finish.
